Jennifer Zator

MSW, LCSW, CCTP-II, CCATP, CMNCS

My journey in the field of social work began with a Master's degree from Fordham University, and since 2018, I've been actively involved in various aspects of mental health care.

My professional path has led me through diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, intensive in-home community programs, and partial hospitalization facilities. In addition to providing individual therapy sessions, I have experience leading group therapy, and conducting family sessions. Currently, I'm the proud owner of Peace and Wellness Therapy Services, where I have the privilege of serving my community through private practice.

I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as those aiming to enhance their coping mechanisms, boost self-esteem, and better manage stress.

I possess expertise in conducting individual therapy sessions and I am deeply passionate about working with individuals affected by chronic illnesses, such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, eating disorders, irritable bowel disease, long-COVID, and rare conditions. I recognize that living with a chronic condition is multifaceted and requires a holistic approach to treatment.

I received training in complex trauma and as a certified clinical trauma professional, I asses whether clients have been impacted by traumatic experiences and how those experiences have affected their thought patterns, feelings, and behaviors. Psychotherapy and mindfulness approaches are implemented to heal the mind and body.

I provide a safe space for you to explore feelings and recognize triggers or contributing factors of mental health issues and identify solutions to overcoming obstacles to overall wellbeing. Together, we can navigate the challenges and celebrate the triumphs that shape your mental wellness. Your story is significant, and I am honored to be a companion on your transformative journey. I'm here to support you!
